This week’s London vlog was a bit bonkers in the best way. I headed into town on a drizzly day (in my long Burberry trench that I thrifted, of course) because I had my first ever in-person book event at Waterstones Gower Street. Before all of that, I had to share the news the second I got it: Clean in 15 has been confirmed as a Sunday Times bestseller. I genuinely couldn’t quite say the words out loud at first—my cheeks were pinching and it still hadn’t sunk in. I spent a little time working at Forest near London Bridge (I actually wrote quite a bit of the book there), then met Luke for a proper catch-up over lunch at Café François. We found a very good-value lunch deal and yes… we tested the “unlimited” chocolate mousse situation. Later, we got to Waterstones, did the Q&A, and I signed books and met so many of you—some of you travelled so far, in January rain, which I’ll never take for granted. Afterwards, Luke and I toasted the night (and the bestseller news) with champagne at the St Pancras Hotel, and I even popped by the famous Spice Girls staircase. It was one of those evenings I’ll remember for life—thank you for being part of it.
