This week’s vlog is very much a “vloggy vlog” as I juggle all the book bits ahead of Clean in 15 landing. I start, as often is the case, at the train station heading into London for meetings, then I’m off up to West Hampstead to do something that still feels completely surreal: signing signed and dedicated copies in West End Lane Books. Seeing stacks of my own book all together for the first time, with your names inside, was honestly such a moment—especially when I started recognising usernames from the YouTube comments. West Hampstead also turned into a proper trip down memory lane. I wandered around the area I used to live, clocked all the changes (M&S, Pret, the overground—so much development!), and even found the old place I lived in during my house-share era, when the “living room became my bedroom” to save money. It made me think about how far things have come, and how those scrappy, thrifty seasons really do shape you. Back at my desk, it’s admin central: podcasts, radio, press bits with The Guardian and The Telegraph, plus sharing a couple of Georgian interiors books I picked up by shopping around for second-hand bargains. I also show a lovely PR package from Skin in Motion by Gia, and I chat through my Instagram giveaway as a big thank you for your pre-orders.
