I took you with me to the peace and tranquility of a very misty beach in Germany, because I’m having a spa day and honestly… sitting outside in a bathrobe in winter with a coffee is one of life’s great pleasures. I even braved a freezing cold dip (very in-and-out, thank you), then warmed up with saunas and a bit of reflection on the year. I also had a rummage in a charity shop and a little self-service place—lots of sweet festive bits, little houses, and those adorable plant picks. Then, the next day, I shared a proper thrifty haul from a Euro shop and a German supermarket: green marble-style display slabs for my bathroom shelves, a genius jar of candles where the lid becomes the candlestick, and some really tasteful Christmas finds—glass ornaments, simple lanterns, ceramic house decorations, and a cute Santa belt pet bowl. Budget-friendly, but still classy.
