In this video I’m unboxing a very cool package that Stack Audio sent over, and I’m giving you a quick overview of what each piece is designed to do before I put it all into my system for real listening. Huge shout out to my buddy Louis B from Vinyl Latte, and also Josh and Theo at Stack Audio for the opportunity. This one is mainly the unboxing and the “what is it?” portion—then in about a week to two weeks (depending on my schedule) I’m going to let everything get absorbed into my setup and come back with a full review. Stack Audio is a UK company (in business since 2013) and their whole focus is eliminating unwanted vibration and unwanted noise—because if you can get rid of those two things, your listening experience should jump up big time. That hits home for me since I live near a military base with helicopters, plus traffic and all the environmental stuff that can literally shake the house. I go through the SERENE Stabiliser (their TAPA particle absorption approach that doesn’t rely on heavy weight), the SERENE silicone mat with those little nubs, and then the AUVA isolators for both equipment and speakers. Packaging is first class, the build feels super solid, and I’m genuinely excited to see how much more clarity, depth, and detail I can pull out of my records once these are in place.
