About This Video

Tonight’s live stream wasn’t about channels, likes, or subs—it was about the vinyl community coming together to celebrate the life and legacy of Ozzy Osbourne. We talked about Ozzy as more than just a rock star: from the birth of heavy metal with Black Sabbath, through the MTV-era madness, all the way to becoming a household name. The whole point was to honor what he gave us—iconic records, unforgettable moments, and a sound that shaped generations—without turning it into a “mourning” session. We traded first memories and personal stories, and I shared mine: I first heard Sabbath on the radio—“Paranoid” and “Iron Man” were always on—but I didn’t fully appreciate them until later. Weird as it sounds, joining the Marine Corps is when it really clicked for me… Sabbath is good “going to war” music. We also got into the purist debates (I’m mostly an Ozzy-era guy and I fall off after Mob Rules), the tragedy of Randy Rhoads, and how Ozzy always seemed to transform the second he hit the stage. If you’ve got an Ozzy record and a memory, this was the room for it.
