In this video I discuss my Beatles Collection. Without a doubt the Beatles have had the biggest impact in pop/rock music more than any other artist (in my opinion). I go through pressings that you should seek out and those you should avoid. Don't forget to like, share and subscribe to the channel. About This Video

In this video I walk through my Beatles vinyl collection and, honestly, it can’t be overstated how massive their impact was on pop music and pop culture. I also get into the reality that Beatles records are a rabbit hole—there are a ton of pressings, and not all of them are worth your money. I talk about the 2012 stereo reissues as a decent “starter” option (even though I’ve heard the common complaints about them being cut from digital and sounding too bass-heavy), and I explain why I personally stay away from most early US Capitol versions: the track listing changes, the mastering, and the fact they were aimed at cheap players back then. I also break down the mono vs stereo debate—mono is what the band preferred and actually oversaw up through the White Album, but I’m not going to pretend stereo is automatically bad. A lot of my collection is stereo because original mono copies are expensive, and I highlight great alternatives like the 1970s UK Harry Moss (HTM) cuts and the Beatles Blue Box as a solid value. Then I show specific records I own (and a couple I’m missing), including a German HörZu Magical Mystery Tour (the one to get), my UK mono Revolver and Sgt. Pepper, my preferred Get Back / Glyn Johns mix, and I end with my all-time favorite Beatles album: Abbey Road.
