This video is basically my full “smart lab from a desk” transformation—how I turned my home setup into a real mechatronics workspace where I can solder, code, edit, and actually build robots without fighting my environment. The biggest problem with my old setup was simple: it was too small. So I switched to a Flexispot E6 standing desk, built it out, and organized everything around the way I actually work. I cover the essentials I think every maker space needs—like a cutting mat (seriously underrated), reachable power (I mounted a power strip right on the desk edge), and lighting that’s strong enough for precision electronics and tiny components. Then I get into the stuff that keeps me motivated and consistent: having projects and achievements physically in your space. For me that’s my arc reactor replica and my Flex robotic hand—one of my proudest builds, and the project that helped take me to expos and even a global innovation expo representing my country. After that, I break down the automation side: my custom JARVIS AI assistant built with a mix of Python, Gemini, and GPT, projected on the wall with a short throw projector like a real holographic HUD. The HUD is free and open-source on my ARK page, and the final piece is personality—because the best lab isn’t the most expensive one, it’s the one that makes you want to keep creating.
