This electric cardboard cutting tool is perfect for making large cardboard crafts and cutting through all kinds of materials including thick cardboard, paper, cloth, thin plastic, vinal, and carpet. This tool is safer than regular cutting tools and is a great powered cardboard cutting tool for crafters that are going to be doing a lot of cutting. #MakerBrain #EliTennant #cordlesselectricscissors #TaskStar 🔎Gear Used To Shoot My Videos🔍 - Camera: [my phone] - Lenses (for my phone): https://amzn.to/3Z69EDg - Accent Lights: https://amzn.to/3Ey6lgl - Main Light: https://amzn.to/3EsHbj2 ⬇️Microphones⬇️ - Lavalier BOYA BY-M1 mic: https://amzn.to/3YU88Vb - Movo VXR10 mic: https://amzn.to/3lY2NNS - USB podcasting condenser mic (similar): https://amzn.to/3xN8DV6 🏆Maker Brain Mission: It is my mission to help you access and implement your God-given creativity through DIY cardboard projects. About This Video

In this video I review the TaskStar cordless electric scissors (these are the rotary style, not the vibrating “electric shears” type) and I explain who actually needs a powered cutting tool for cardboard. If you’re making a lot of large, low-detail cardboard creations, doing long straight cuts, working with fabrics or thin plastics, or you’ve got a pile of scrap that needs to be broken down for recycling, this tool can save you a lot of time and hand fatigue. One of my favorite things is that it protects my work surface—I can literally hold the cardboard up and cut without dragging a knife across my desk. I walk through the real benefits: it’s pretty plug-and-play, it can be faster than a knife on long cuts, and it’s generally safer than a knife because there’s not much blade exposed. It also has a two-button activation and a sleep-mode style reset, so it’s unlikely to run accidentally. But I also get into the dark side: it struggles with thicker material, it can snag when you’re trying to get started, it can’t really do inside cutouts, and it doesn’t give super clean edges on thick cardboard (you’ll see crushing and little rips). Bottom line: not a must-have for everyone, but if you’re building something big—like a cardboard playhouse—this can be a solid upgrade.
