In this video, I have wrangled up 9 different kinds of cheap surfaces (that you probably already have laying around your home) to do a deep-dive test on how well 3d pen prints adhere to them. There are tones of different factors that go into determining a good 3d pen printing surface which is why I perform several tests and show you all the results. Although I do tell you which surface I think is the best, there is plenty of room for you to have your own opinion and at the end of the video, I share a chart displaying all the surfaces from best to worst so that you know the advantages (and disadvantages) of every surface. ⏱TIMESTAMPS (these are here to help you navigate the video): Paper tests 2:11, Paper conclusion/review 6:32 Cardboard tests 7:31, Cardboard conclusion/review 9:52 Glue-Hardened Cardboard tests 11:00 Glue-Hardened Cardboard conclusion/review 13:35 Painter's tape tests 14:05 Painter's tape conclusion/review 17:21 Duck Tape tests 18:19 Duck Tape conclusion/review 22:24 Aluminum foil (No glue) tests 23:37 Aluminium foil (No glue) conclusion/review 29:18 Aluminum foil with stick glue tests 27:03 Aluminum foil with stick glue conclusion/review 29:29 Wax Paper tests 30:10 Wax Paper conclusion/review 32:19 Parchment Paper tests 32:58 Parchment Paper conclusion/review 35:01 Question Of The Day❓35:25 🚨FINAL CONCLUSION/REVIEW OF ALL SURFACES🚨 35:49 Chart of all the surfaces I tested📊 36:41 My star grading key (6:58): ⭐️(1 star) = There is no good reason to use the surface and it is basically just trash. ⭐️⭐️(2 stars) = There is a possible use for it but it is mostly useless and hard to work with. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 stars) = It is OK but not very good. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 stars) = There are only a few problems with it but it works well and I would recommend it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 stars) = It works nearly perfectly and if there are any problems with it they are minimal.
