About This Video

In this video I’m testing the HOTO EasyFlow mini cordless glue gun, and the technology inside it honestly puts it head and shoulders above most craft glue guns I’ve used. The “high tech trick” is that it’s not a normal manual trigger—it's a big button that runs a motor to push the glue stick for you. That means it can keep dispensing glue without you having to keep pulling a trigger, and the built-in retraction (that little “suckback” when you let go) helps reduce strings and drips. It’s not perfect, but it’s noticeably cleaner, and I find myself reaching for it the most because it makes hot gluing feel quick and easy instead of a whole ordeal. I also cover the design details (balanced, bottom-heavy battery, silicone front, and a tip cover for storing it while hot), heat-up time (about 30 seconds), and what you need to know about performance. It runs a bit colder than a standard corded glue gun, which is a pro and a con: it’s safer for fingers and cures faster, but you get less working time and slightly weaker bonds. I break down the drawbacks too—single speed means less fine control for super-thin lines, no dual temperature, slow 5W charging, and it shuts off after 5 minutes of inactivity. Overall, if you want the best cordless craft experience under $50, this one is a serious contender.
