About This Video

We’re in that weird year-end stretch where there’s basically a few weeks of “nothing new,” so Chris & Jay decided to do one of our silly, easy videos: a straight-up chat about our favourite model kits of 2025. We scroll through the year’s releases and, honestly, it’s the usual “holy moly” moment—just the sheer volume of kits that dropped. We hit the big Games Workshop highlights, call out what actually moved the needle, and poke a little fun at some of the “standout” picks on the calendar that felt… questionable. For me, the top of the pile is pretty clear: Bor’Dry is just tippy top. That face, the dragon head, the option to run the dragon on its own—packed with detail and presence. We also talk about kits that surprised people once they saw them in person (Saturnites), and the releases that made me want to collect an army, like Votann Wave 2—especially that character model with the Tyranid on his back, because I love when a miniature has history and story baked right into the sculpt. We don’t stay GW-only either: Cathay knocked it out of the park (and the battalion being a one-off deal is brutal), Corvus Belli’s stuff was stunning, Warcrow took a big step forward (that War Rig!), and Marvel Crisis Protocol’s Phoenix was an absolute must-buy-level kit. In the end, we want to know what made you go “WOAH” this year.
