I walk through how I do it on my phone using a simple notes app (I use Google Keep, but anything works). I break projects into chunks—armor, secondary colours, weapons—then list base, shade, highlight, and I’ll note the manufacturer when it matters (because there are like 15 bronzes, and you will forget which one). It’s especially helpful for “forever projects” you’ll add to over years, for picking up an army after months off, and for helping friends/customers by copying a recipe straight out of your notes. Net net: it’s not much work, and it can save your butt.
