YORKSHIRE PUDDING IN THE OMNIA OVEN - SUCCESS OR FAIL?

We've never tasted yorkshire pudding and wanted to see if we could make it in the Omnia Oven. The results are mixed. There was some slight burning, but worse, because the recipe requires high temperatures, we burned a small hole in our Omnia muffin silicone mold. The dish itself was a success, as it was delicious, but now we have to buy a new mold. Cook at your own risk !!! Ingredients: 3 large eggs 125g / 3.4 ounces plain flour ½ tsp sea salt 150ml / 5 ounces whole milk Vegetable oil Directions: Beat the eggs together in a mixing bowl using a balloon whisk. Sift the flour with the salt, then gradually beat this into the eggs to make a smooth batter. Whisk in the milk until combined. Cover and leave to stand at room temperature for about 1 hour. Pour 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil into each compartment of the Omnia silicone molds. Place the silicone mold in the Omnia oven for 12-15 minutes to heat up the oil until very hot (this is important for the rise). Stir the batter and pour into a pitcher. Be careful as the oil will sizzle a bit as the batter hits it. Bake at degrees 350F, for approximately 11-12 minutes or until the Yorkshires are well risen, golden brown and crisp. Do not open the lid while baking! Serve immediately and enjoy!
