Get Edye's Cookbook on Amazon here - https://amzn.to/3H7Fton E-book Version - https://littlehouseofbeans.com/e-book/ols/products/outdoor-cooking-with-edye-featuring-the-omnia-oven-e-book-version Tools: Standard-sized Omnia Oven Upper Oven Rack Lower perforated grate Baking Grid Food processor (optional) Ingredients: 13 colossal shrimp (450g), peeled and deveined 1 egg white 1 tablespoon (8g) cornstarch 1 teaspoon (5ml) soy sauce 1 teaspoons (5g) chicken bouillon powder 1 teaspoon (5ml) sesame oil 1 teaspoons (5ml) grated ginger 1 garlic clove (3g), minced 1½ teaspoons (7.5g) sugar 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) white pepper 3 green onions (25g), finely chopped 6 slices of white sandwich bread (crusts removed) or crustless bread Japanese mayo (for spreading on the outside of each sandwich) Garlic powder, to taste Instructions: Chop/mince by hand, or place the shrimp in a food processor and pulse until finely minced Transfer the minced shrimp to a mixing bowl and add the egg white, cornstarch, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, garlic, sugar, chicken bouillon, green onions, and white pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined; set aside. Spread a generous, even layer of the shrimp mixture over one slice of bread. Top with a second slice to form a sandwich. Repeat with the remaining bread to make 3 sandwiches. Lightly spread Japanese mayonnaise over the outside of each sandwich. Dust with a pinch of garlic powder, or combine the garlic powder with the mayonnaise before spreading for even coverage. Cut each sandwich diagonally to form triangles. Arrange the pieces on a greased baking grid or rack, placing 3 halves on each rack. Bake at 250°F (120°C) for 50–55 minutes, or until golden, crisp, and cooked through.
