Get Edye's Cookbook on Amazon here - https://amzn.to/3H7Fton E-book Version - https://littlehouseofbeans.com/e-book/ols/products/outdoor-cooking-with-edye-featuring-the-omnia-oven-e-book-version Tools used: Regular Omnia Pan Omnia silicone mold Whisk Sifter Ingredients: 1 (12 ct) package original King's Hawaiian Rolls ½ cup (120g) Apple Butter 1/2 cup (113g) butter, softened (1 stick) 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar 2 tsp (4g) ground cinnamon 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla Icing: 3/4 cup (90g) powdered sugar 2 Tbsp (28g) melted butter 1/8 tsp (0.75g) salt 2 Tbsp (30ml) milk or brown sugar creamer 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) vanilla extract Instructions: Carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise, keeping them connected as a single sheet. Set the top half aside on a plate, and place the bottom half into a greased Omnia baking pan. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until smooth and well blended. Spread about two-thirds of this mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls in the pan. Spoon the apple butter over the cinnamon mixture, distributing it in small dollops. Gently place the top half of the rolls over the filling, cut side down, aligning them to resemble a sandwich. Spread the remaining butter mixture evenly over the tops. Bake at 200–250°F (93–120°C) for approximately 30-40 minutes, or until the rolls are heated through and the butter mixture has fully melted. While the rolls bake, prepare the glaze: In a separate bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, melted butter, salt, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth and drizzle-worthy. Add a touch more milk if the icing seems too thick, adjusting to reach your desired drizzle consistency. Once the rolls are warm from the oven, drizzle the glaze generously over the top. Serve immediately—and get ready for smiles all around!
