Get Edye's Cookbook on Amazon here - https://amzn.to/3H7Fton E-book Version - https://littlehouseofbeans.com/e-book/ols/products/outdoor-cooking-with-edye-featuring-the-omnia-oven-e-book-version Tools used: Omnia maxi pan Omnia maxi silicone mold Ingredients: 2 cans (16.3 oz each) Pillsbury Grands Buttermilk Biscuits, cut into quarters 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar 1 tbsp (8g) ground cinnamon 1 cup (220g) brown sugar, packed 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, melted 2 ½ (37ml) tbsp cup bourbon 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract 10 slices cooked bacon, crumbled or chopped, approximately 150-200 grams (depending on slice thickness) 1/2 cup (60g) walnuts, chopped (or any nut of choice) Instructions: Grease the Omnia oven with butter or nonstick spray to ensure the monkey bread doesn’t stick. Cut refrigerated biscuit dough into quarters. Combine 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon in a large zip-top bag or large mixing bowl. Add the dough pieces, shaking to coat them evenly with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place half of the coated dough pieces into the greased pan. Sprinkle half of the crumbled cooked bacon and walnuts over the dough. Add the remaining dough on top to the pan. In a small bowl, pour the melted butter. Stir in 1 cup packed brown sugar, bourbon, and vanilla extract and mix. Bake at 200F-225F for 60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dough is cooked through. Allow the monkey bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Carefully invert the Omnia Oven onto a serving plate, letting the sticky caramel drizzle down the sides. Serve warm, pulling apart pieces to enjoy the sweet, smoky, and boozy flavors. NOTE: Please be careful not to overfill your oven, as the bread will rise, and potentially spill the liquid you've put in. We used the Maxi pan in this video, and still got close to overfilling.
