In this video I’m down on the beautiful island of Cozumel, Mexico, and I’m giving you a full tour of the resort we stay at: Hotel Cozumel and Resort. I show you the view off our balcony looking over the courtyard, walk you through what the room setup looks like, and give you a feel for the overall property and the amenities—real-world, from-the-trip perspective, not a brochure. We’ve been coming here since the beginning of Lake Hickory Scuba—back in 2012—and we still bring clients, customers, and students here because it’s just an easy, family-friendly place to do a dive trip (or even bring non-divers). When we book it, we typically do an all-inclusive package, so the food is covered, and if you drink alcohol, that’s unlimited too (we don’t, but it’s included). They’ve got shows at night, a great atmosphere, and of course the diving in Cozumel is amazing—if you’re trying to pick a solid home base for a warm-water trip, this is one I can confidently recommend.
