About This Video

In this part of my 2026 rig run down series, I’m on the workbench breaking down the five main “computers” I’m actually using this year—plus one dive watch that still earns a spot in my lineup. I walk you through what each unit is, how I’ve got it set up, and the real-world reason it ends up on my wrist (or on my reg set) depending on whether I’m teaching, traveling, doing tech, or working public safety/salvage. I start with my Citizen 20th Anniversary Aqualand dive watch—this one’s about depth, time, and logging, not nitrogen loading, so I keep it for confined water/open water programs and everyday wear. Then I cover my Mares Sirius as my go-to daily wrist computer (I run it non-air integrated and stick with an SPG), plus why I swapped to a nylon NATO strap—silicone is no joke for me and it’ll literally burn my skin. I pair that with the Mares Quad CI set up to match it exactly, and I’ll wear both on tech dives. I also explain why my Ratio EX3M2 doesn’t get as much underwater time even though it’s loaded with features: it’s bulky, but it’s an awesome backup and it comes with a built-in nitrox analyzer function I use on trips. Finally, I show my workhorse Mares Puck 4 in a console for quick-deploy public safety/commercial situations—already attached, one less thing to forget, and still capable enough to cover what I need.
