About This Video

Hey guys—today I’m jumping into Dollar Tree DIYs using glass, and I’m turning the most basic $1.25 finds into budget-friendly decor that looks way more high-end. I’m using things like a frame, mason jars, round vases, and even those glass (and “looks like glass”) containers that Dollar Tree always has. I’ll show you how I mix quick paint techniques, simple stenciling, and a little bit of greenery to get that cozy farmhouse look without spending a ton. I start with an old-school DIY I used to do years ago—framing scrapbook paper and hot gluing a mason jar right onto the frame, then filling it with fairy lights, moss, and florals. After that, I spray paint round vases and use Dollar Tree rub-on transfers (mine were a little imperfect, but honestly I kind of love that). I also do a super easy jar makeover with a farmhouse silkscreen transfer (I picked a goat—because of course), plus a shaker container painted with Waverly chalk paint in Moss and dry brushed with Espresso. My biggest takeaway: glass is one of the easiest Dollar Tree materials to “upgrade,” and once you have a few good transfers and paint colors, you can keep reusing them over and over again.
