Hey guys—today I’m tackling the real-life chaos that happens when you craft and then just… walk away. In this video I’m doing an extreme realistic craft room declutter and clean with me, and I start where it matters most: the side by the door, because I literally could not get into the room. I clear off my most-used bookshelf, wipe everything down, and put things back in a way that actually makes sense for how I craft—paints where I can see the colors (I don’t use a ton of color and that’s just how I like it), and my day-to-day supplies easy to grab. I also dig into the closet and finally stop “throwing stuff in there.” I use Dollar Tree clear bins because they’re thin, stackable, and make it easier to see what I have. I purge crusty paint brushes, corral my Chalk Couture stuff into one spot (so I can grab a whole basket and go), and I’m honest about what I’m not using—like thrift items that need sanding, or florals I’ve been hoarding with way too much hot glue on them. I’m only halfway done after about four hours, so this is definitely a part one situation—but you’ll still see a huge before-and-after and hopefully get motivated to tackle your own “hoarder-looking” room.
