Hey y’all, I’m Kristin, and in this video I’m sharing a bunch of Easter decor DIYs that are super budget-friendly—think Dollar Tree, yard sale finds, and a few little upgrades that make everything look way more high-end. I start with a wooden sign I grabbed at a yard sale (it was originally Hobby Lobby, but I only paid $2) and I dress it up with rub-on transfers. I’ll be honest—sometimes those words can be stubborn, so I peel slowly and go back over spots as needed. Then I finish it off with moss at the bottom, and it ended up being such a cute touch. Next I make a “Happy Easter” egg set using Dollar Tree eggs and my Chalk Couture silk screen transfer with black velvet chalk paste. I always use a hair dryer to speed up dry time, and I use a ruler so everything lines up before I glue the eggs together. After that, I flip a free yard sale wreath by stripping off the gross old burlap (it was dirty and smelled—no thank you) and wrapping it with fresh burlap, lamb’s ear, florals, and my favorite thicker Dollar General carrots. I also add a wood bunny and a sweet “Somebody loves you” detail on the back. I finish with a simple thrifted sign/bunny combo and a quick Dollar Tree bunny holding a galvanized bucket—this one seriously took about 3 minutes but looks adorable.
