Prices have gone up on everything, so I’m extra excited about those clearance finds—like the Dollar General wood sign I scored for 10 cents. You’ll see me turn a long cutting-board-style sign into a simple farmhouse fall tray with half wood beads and little feet, then I use Chalk Couture transfers and chalk paste to get that high-end look without needing a Cricut. I also make a floral fall “bucket/box/basket situation” using styrofoam and florals, create a cute fabric-and-bead wreath on a stovetop cover, and do a quick refresh on a sign by swapping out the florals and adding a rub-on transfer. My biggest takeaway: you don’t have to overcomplicate fall decor—scrapbook paper, a glue stick, and rub-on transfers can seriously transform something in minutes.
