I’m taking basic finds from a yard sale, Hobby Lobby, Dollar General, and even the Goodwill outlet, and turning them into farmhouse-style decor using simple paint, transfers, and a little bit of hot glue (because glue fixes everything, right?). I walk you through a few different projects: a wood round sign painted in Waverly moss with a farmhouse silkscreen design, a welcome sign I snagged on sale and painted black (yes, it tried to fall apart on me), a distressed white sign using a Chalk Couture transfer, and a Dollar General tray/stand that I refreshed with pretty “rub-on” style transfers and dry brushing around the edges. I also share my real thoughts on crafting trends—like why I’m going back to what I actually love making (farmhouse), instead of forcing what I think everyone else wants.
