Hey guys, I’m Kristin, and in this video I’m sharing 20+ of my favorite gingerbread Christmas DIYs using mostly Dollar Tree (plus a few Dollar General, Walmart, thrifted, and Hobby Lobby finds). If you love that cozy “Christmas bakery” look—gingham bows, gingerbread men, cookie signs, faux treats, and all the cute little details—this one is for you. I’m doing everything from a gingerbread “Christmas cookie bake shop” stand made from Dollar Tree wood crates, to cutting board signs, faux book stacks turned into hot chocolate and gingerbread recipe decor, and even super fun gingerbread jars using cheap ornaments. And yes… we’re using puff paint. A lot of puff paint. Every Christmas I go through it like crazy because it gives that perfect icing drip effect, and honestly you really can’t mess things up with it. I also use faux clay sprinkles over and over (because if I buy it for the season, I’m using it), and I’ll show you how I mix in Cricut decals when I already have my machine out—without making it a “Cricut-only” kind of project list. The biggest takeaway: you can make high-end looking gingerbread decor on a budget if you layer paint, add texture (puff paint + sprinkles), and don’t be afraid to embellish your heart out.
