In this video I’m sharing a bunch of fall DIY decor hacks that look high-end, but cost me about $1 (or even less) because I love shopping my stash and grabbing things after the season. I start with a standing pumpkin (I scored mine for 80–90% off at Hobby Lobby) and give it a quick makeover with Waverly chalk paint—of course. I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t paint the back because I’m lazy with that part, but if yours will be seen, definitely paint both sides. I also upcycle a Dollar General sign by cutting off the “happy harvest” piece, dry brushing it, and turning it into a cute layered pumpkin moment with a little garland and budget florals. I also make thrifted wooden house decor using scrapbook paper, twine, and simple bows (because sometimes pre-made pieces are just easier). Then I show you one of my favorite budget wins: a fall beaded tray made from yard-sale finds and Dollar Tree wreath forms—under $2.50 total, which is absolutely my kind of craft. I finish with easy rub-on transfer projects on galvanized decor and a reversible Dollar Tree pumpkin sign, plus scrap-wood “pumpkin pies” and candy corns—because I make my husband keep every single scrap piece of wood for moments like this.
