About This Video

In this video I’m sharing a handful of super budget-friendly Christmas DIYs for 2025 using a little bit of everything—yard sale finds, Goodwill signs, Dollar Tree wood pieces, and a few of my favorite Chalk Couture transfers. I start with a free yard sale sign, sand it down, and paint it my favorite Christmas red (Waverly Crimson). Then I use a Chalk Couture silkscreen transfer with bright white chalk paste, and yes… I definitely had a “what is going to happen” moment because I didn’t take care of that transfer like I thought I did. Luckily it was totally fixable with some touch-ups. I also flip a cheap wedding décor sign (because wedding décor is so overpriced for a few hours… I will never understand it) and distress it for that worn-in look I love. I dig into my ornament stash—some of it is old Walmart and Dollar Tree—and I even change my mind mid-DIY because I saw more potential in one ornament as its own little sign. I finish up with easy, simple signs using rub-on transfers and another Chalk Couture Christmas stencil, plus a gingerbread village-style sign in a hazelnut paint to keep things cute but not too over-the-top. And yes, I’m testing a new cordless Hoto glue gun that I’m honestly obsessed with.
