In this video I Review the IVANKY FusionDock Pro 3. With up to 120 GB/s in data throughput, this Thunderbolt 5 Hub is the fastest on the market right now. Will TB5 actually future proof your Mac for years to come or is it overhyped and is it even useful if you have an older Mac with only Thunderbolt 4? ✅ Check it out here: https://geni.us/0Fj1oH 🎬 IVANKY FusionDock Pro 1+ Review: https://youtu.be/jtUSuzVHLDU ____________________________________________________ 🛒 Checkout my Amazon Storefront for more useful tech at affordable prices: https://www.amazon.com/shop/kamanibrown ____________________________________________________ Social Media - Instagram: kamanibrown_ Facebook: Kamani Brown Email: katanagraphicsja@gmail.com ____________________________________________________ DISCLAIMER: I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program (and several others), an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for persons to earn commissions by promoting and linking to Amazon.com (or whichever other affiliated website/company). About This Video

In this video, I’m checking out the IVANKY FusionDock Pro 3—right now one of the fastest Thunderbolt 5 hubs on the market with up to 120GB/s of throughput. I walk through the port selection, what’s in the box (yes, the power brick is massive), and how it stacks up against the older FusionDock Pro 1+ in size, weight, and design. The big headline is future-proofing: it’s Thunderbolt 5 certified, but it’s also backwards compatible all the way from Thunderbolt 1 to 5, so it’ll still work even if your Mac is older. I also show you the real-world caveat when you’re not on a Thunderbolt 5 Mac yet. I’m using an M2 Max Mac Studio (Thunderbolt 4), and once I started running my 4K 120Hz LG C3 OLED plus my LG Ultragear monitor, I hit the classic bandwidth limits—meaning you might have to plug one display directly into the Mac to get max refresh rates. After that, I plug in a whole pile of SSDs, HDDs, and SD cards to show the real utility: tons of ports and reliable day-to-day use. My main gripes are the front-facing host port (messy cable management), wishing for HDMI/DisplayPort and maybe another Thunderbolt port, and the fact that drives can disconnect overnight due to power management settings.
