The IVANKY FusionDock Pro 3 is a serious Thunderbolt 5 dock with massive bandwidth headroom (up to 120GB/s) and enough ports to run a full desk setup. I like it because it’s backwards compatible, so even on my Thunderbolt 4 Mac Studio I can still use it today, and once I upgrade I’m basically set for years.
Pros
+Thunderbolt 5 certified with up to 120GB/s throughput
+Backwards compatible from Thunderbolt 1 to Thunderbolt 5
+140W host charging plus an extra Thunderbolt port (60W)
+Plenty of USB-A ports, SD card slot, audio jack, and 2.5Gb Ethernet
+Reliable for connecting multiple SSDs/HDDs and peripherals
Cons
-Front-facing host port makes cable management messy
-No built-in HDMI/DisplayPort and I wish there was another Thunderbolt port
-On Thunderbolt 4 Macs, display refresh/resolution can be limited by bandwidth
-Drives may disconnect/eject overnight depending on power management settings
