In this video I’m keeping it straight to the point: if your PS5 Pulse Elite headset keeps randomly disconnecting and cutting out mid-game, this is the fastest fix I’ve found. I’ve been dealing with the disconnects from day one, and trust me—nothing is worse than being in a Call of Duty match, the audio drops, and now you’re scrambling to pull the dongle, reset, plug back in… and by then you’re dead, respawn, dead again, and your K/D is cooked. My solution is simple: use a USB extender and move the Pulse Elite dongle away from the back of the console. The way I see it, the dongle is super sensitive to heat, and the PS5 (especially my PS5 Pro) pushes a lot of heat out the rear vents. With the extender, I bring that dongle to the front—cooler area and more direct line of sight to the headset. It’s not the prettiest setup, but it works 1000%. Since doing this, I’ve had zero disconnects, and I can actually enjoy the Pulse Elites the way I’m supposed to.
