We’ve been gone for seven months, and yep—life got real. In this update, we’re re-introducing ourselves as an interabled couple and explaining the question we get nonstop: why Tanya travels solo sometimes while I’m home. The short version is I’ve been completely inundated with work at the VFW, and it’s taken basically all my time. I’ve been MIA from YouTube, and even our Just Roll With It Mobility Foundation has been stagnant for a few months—my bad—but we’re getting it back up and running and current. We also have a big new addition to the family: Hank (aka Hank the Tank). He’s a wild child—full of “piss and vinegar”—and we’re going to do a whole episode on him because… yeah, there’s a lot to say. On top of that, we opened a wheelchair accessible Airbnb, and it’s been busy. We’ve gotten all five-star reviews so far, and it’s honestly one of the only wheelchair accessible Airbnbs around here, so we’re proud of that—even though the “best laid plans” still come with surprise projects (like flooring). Going forward, expect videos every few weeks, more everyday wheelchair-life reality, Airbnb updates, and plenty of Derek shenanigans in Shorts. We missed you, and we’re back—just in a new season of life.
