Always.) Real talk though: I’m walking through what I actually think is going on—old pellets. I was laid up in the hospital for six to seven months off and on, and I never swapped them out, so now I’m wondering if they dried out, lost moisture, and are burning too hot. I already cleaned off the little temperature detector, and the next move is simple: lid open, burn through what’s left, and start from scratch since I can’t shop-vac the last bit out from my chair. Also, yes—you can see the “residual yumminess” from ribs last night. They were good… even if the Traeger kept shutting off and annoyed me enough to turn this into a mini troubleshooting session.
