About This Video

Ladies and gentlemen, today we dragged home what might be the world’s most poop-covered “Judge” the internet’s ever seen. We pulled this 1969 Pontiac GTO “Judge” (and yes, I know… it’s probably a LeMans with a whole lotta dreams) out of a barn in North Iowa after hauling a pile of other abandoned farm cars and parts for days. It’s cold, it stinks, the rear end is missing, and it’s absolutely a death hazard to work on in the barn—so we chained it up, drug it out, and brought it somewhere warm where we could actually do something besides gag. Once it was in the shop, we threw wheels on it, checked if the Pontiac motor was stuck (it wasn’t), and started sorting out why it had zero power—turns out the main harness was unplugged. After cleaning up wiring, sanding points, hot-wiring the coil, and fixing a massive vacuum leak, that WT-coded Pontiac 400 lit off and actually ran way better than it had any right to. We flushed the fuel pump into a bucket, added a filter, tossed in fresh plugs and better wires, and then we even got it to move under its own power. The real battle was the interior. We stripped it down because it was basically a mouse condominium, found clues that parts came from a real 242 VIN GTO, and discovered this thing’s been pieced together for a long time. The floors are surprisingly decent, but we’ve got some patching to do before nice new interior parts go in—because I’m not pulling that carpet back out later.
