About This Video

Four and a half years ago I made a promise on the Limo Revival video, and since it’s sitting at 3.3 million views, I had to pay up. Not with a turbo LS (because that’s ridiculous), but with 35 pounds of nitrous on my abandoned 35-and-a-half-foot limo that’s been rotting in my yard. I hate this thing. It’s built out of scrap metal and pallets, the wiring is a nightmare (it literally wants two batteries), and somehow it’s still straight enough to be dangerous. So naturally, we drag it out, wash the worst of the “walnut salad” off it, and get to work. I’ve never installed nitrous before, so we leaned on Nitrous Outlet’s diagrams and built a universal wet kit setup right at the farm with basic tools. We mounted a bottle, ran what might be the world’s longest nitrous line, plumbed fuel off the Schrader valve on the rail, and set up a purge that’s hooked to the horn—because of course it is. Then we dumped the five-year-old stink fuel, threw in fresh 91, started with a small 35 shot, and worked through leaks and dumb ideas until the “big show” purge finally barked out the hood. The takeaway: nitrous is shockingly easy to install… which is exactly why it’s so easy to turn your engine into parts.
