This is my 1-year, unfiltered Yarbo review after running it on my 3.7 acre property through snow season and mowing season. Yarbo is supposed to be the “ultimate” autonomous yard robot—snow blowing, snow plowing, mowing, and even towing—and when it works, it honestly feels like magic. The biggest win for me has been snow clearing: waking up warm in bed knowing the driveway got cleared while I slept is absolutely priceless. On the mowing side, it saved me dozens and dozens of hours—I only had to mow manually one time all season. But I’m not going to pretend it’s been perfect, because when Yarbo fails, it fails big. I’ve dealt with a drive motor issue that required a core unit replacement, two mower motor failures on the standard mower module, broken antennas (I replaced about four), and even a broken mower blade disc. I also had some “AI isn’t that intelligent” moments—property damage, getting stuck pushing snow piles, and one especially frustrating vacation incident where it lost connection, died in the back of the property, and I had to physically rescue it. After all that, would I buy it again? Yes—but you need to be ready to be the mechanic and work with support.
