About This Video

In this workflow-series video, I’m breaking down why iPadOS 26 on the iPad Pro genuinely feels like a game changer for my remote work and daily productivity. I’ll be honest: I’m not that excited about the iOS update in general, but from an iPad perspective this is significant. I’ve already been using my iPad Pro a lot with the Magic Keyboard and Pencil Pro (even back on iOS 18), and iPadOS 26 pushes it closer than ever to a proper “laptop-like” experience—without losing the iPad-specific magic. The biggest shift is multitasking. I can finally resize windows freely, run multiple windows at once, and it all feels more Mac-like with the traffic-light controls and a pointer-style cursor. For my use case—research, on-the-go previews, and bouncing between apps—this fluidity is powerful. I also love the new Preview app because it closes a long-standing gap for PDFs and quick document edits, and the Downloads folder in the Dock fixes one of my most annoying Safari workflows. I also talk about the new “liquid glass” design: it didn’t resonate at first, but it started to grow on me because everything feels smoother and easier to navigate. iPadOS 26 is still beta, and I’m watching closely to see if key Microsoft apps (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel) finally catch up—because that’s the real test for iPad as a work machine.
