In this video, I tested M5 vs M4 focusing on what actually matters in daily workflow — not just benchmarks. iPad Pro 11 inch vs 13 inch video https://youtu.be/82rkHqs14Yw?si=_sOYq9icmE0YeoU1 The biggest difference? ✔️ Noticeably smoother multitasking ✔️ Better background app refresh management ✔️ More stable heavy app switching ✔️ Subtle improvements like faster charging But here’s the honest conclusion: If you're on M3 or M4, this is NOT a must-upgrade. If you're on anything older (M1 / M2 or Intel), M5 makes a lot more sense. This video is especially relevant if you: • Run multiple productivity apps at once • Edit, render, and switch between tasks constantly • Use your iPad or Mac as a true work machine • Care about long-term efficiency, not hype upgrades I also referenced my 11-inch vs 13-inch comparison video, because performance only matters if the form factor suits your workflow. If you haven’t watched that one yet, it will help you decide which size makes more sense for you. #iPadProM5 #iPadPro #iPadPro11 #iPadPro13 #AppleEcosystem #TabletComparison #TechReview #ProductivitySetup #iPadWorkflow #appletech ▶️ Subscribe to JOINFAIZANJ for more tech reviews and home office inspiration: https://youtube.com/@Joinfaizanj 📸 Follow on Instagram for daily desk setups & gear: https://www.instagram.com/joinfaizanj 📹 Watch BTS + extras on TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@joinfaizanj 🖥️ All My Gear & Desk Setup https://beacons.ai/joinfaizanj 📬 Business Inquiries joinfaizanj@gmail.com

About This Video

In this video I’m comparing the iPad Pro M5 vs M4, but in the way I actually use these devices day to day — not benchmark charts or spec sheets. I’ve been on the M4 for around a year and a half, and I didn’t have a genuine reason to upgrade… until I started testing the M5 alongside iPadOS 26 and realised Apple has quietly improved the one thing that always annoyed me on iPad: multitasking and background app refresh. The biggest difference I noticed straight away is how much longer apps stay “where I left them.” For example, Google Sheets is a big one in my workflow, and on the M4 it can feel jumpy — you leave it in the background, come back, and it refreshes constantly. On the M5, apps stay alive longer, heavy app switching feels more stable, and overall the experience feels more robust and complete. Yes, there are subtle extras like faster charging, but that’s not enough to justify the spend. My honest conclusion: if you’re on M4 (or even M3), don’t upgrade — wait for the next proper jump (M6 or whatever Apple does next). But if you’re on M1/M2 or older, you’ll feel a much bigger difference, especially if you live in multiple apps and treat your iPad like a real work machine.
