In this video I’m basically doing a “day in the life” with my Ford Ranger Raptor, because spec sheets don’t tell you what real ownership feels like. I start the day at 6:00 a.m., hit the gym, then do the normal commute grind—stop-and-go traffic, errands, and just living with the truck like a regular person. I show the interior tech (ambient lighting, screen, steering wheel controls, aux switches), talk about why I always turn auto start/stop off, and give you real MPG numbers from my actual driving. I also break down what daily driving is like even with my setup: 35x12.50R17 Toyo Open Country R/T Trails, Bronco Sasquatch wheels, and a 2/1 strut spacer. Around town I usually see 14–16 mpg depending on traffic and how heavy my foot is, and on the highway I can push 18–20 mpg if I’m cruising. The big takeaway: you can build a cheaper truck, sure—but it’s not going to drive like a Ranger Raptor out of the box. For me it’s the best bang-for-your-buck performance truck, and yeah… I’d absolutely buy it again. Smiles per gallon.
