In this video I’m testing out something I think is a legit trail upgrade if you’re tired of basic “only airs up tires” compressors. This is the MaXpeedingrods MXR Pro 12V kit, and the big deal is it’s dual purpose: I can air up my tires and also use it like a garage-style compressor to blow stuff off when I’m out on the trail. I walk through what comes in the kit (unit + hoses), how the quick-connects work, and how easy it is to hook straight to your battery—positive to positive, negative to negative. I show the operation step-by-step: hit start, it pumps up to 200 PSI, and then it shuts down once it reaches pressure. It’s also pretty quiet for what it is. I do a quick air-up demo (I went from about 35 to 37 PSI pretty fast), and then I switch tools to show the “other” side of the compressor—blowing out a super dusty engine bay and battery compartment. I also show how to power it off and purge the air so the fittings pop out easy. If you want one compressor that can air up and also help you clean up on the go, this one’s worth a look.
