You can still get 20–30% more performance out of Intel Core Ultra / LGA 1851 CPUs with a few BIOS changes and better temperatures too. This is my updated socket-wide guide for ANY Core Ultra CPU on ANY LGA 1851 motherboard: B860, Z890, ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock, all of it. I’ll show you the general method first, then you can fine-tune it depending on your exact CPU and board. If you want the absolute best result, cross-reference this with my CPU-specific undervolt videos too :) 0:00 Why this guide matters now 1:05 XMP / RAM setup first 2:05 Dynamic undervolt (all boards) 3:55 Static undervolt / fixed voltage 6:15 Power profiles and power limit unlock 8:25 Final tips + what to tweak next 📷 Follow me: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imwateringpsus Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/imwateringpsus YT Member: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyTZ7F7OGSwUl5ZQos02-vw/join ⚙️ Gear & Recommendations: Thermal Paste I use: https://amzn.to/4lS2tuV Electric screwdriver for PC building: https://amzn.to/4stgJga Mini Air Duster for PC cleaning: https://amzn.to/4bAWJSZ My fav mouse: https://madcatz.store/products/mad-catz-m-m-o-7-wireless-gaming-mouse?sca_ref=10580619.Vzo1VpjdXGZIC&sca_source=YouTube Deskmat: https://deskmat.io/imwateringpsus DISCLOSURE: Some links are affiliate links, I may earn a small commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. #CoreUltra #LGA1851 #Undervolt

About This Video

You can now get anywhere from 20–30% “free” performance out of Intel Core Ultra on LGA 1851, and the reason this guide matters is simple: the early BIOS situation pulled performance back hard. In this video I show my updated, socket-wide method that works on basically every board and every brand (B860, Z890, ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock). Before you do anything, I want you to update your BIOS, then go straight into Advanced Mode and set up XMP/RAM properly—because RAM instability is one of the most common ways people think their undervolt “doesn’t work.” From there I walk you through dynamic undervolting (offset) first, because it’s the most universal. On some boards it’s in the usual voltage menu, but on ASRock B860 it’s under CPU DLVR. I give you starting points like -50 mV (works for most), -30 mV (basically universal), and even -100 mV if you’re lucky and you test properly. I also cover static/fixed voltage tuning (around 1.15V as a sweet spot), explain why B-series ratio limits change what you can do, and then I show you how to unlock performance via power profiles or by manually maxing out PL1/PL2/current limits—assuming your cooling is actually up to the job.
