Selling the PC is not the end of the process!! If you want to treat PC flipping like a real side hustle or business, what you do after the sale matters a lot, possibly even more than getting a sale. About This Video

After you sell a gaming PC, the process is not over—honestly, this is where a lot of people mess up if they’re trying to flip PCs like a real side hustle. In this episode, I go through what I do right after a sale to keep things clean, scalable, and professional. First thing: I immediately remove the old ads once the PC is gone and the money is in my account. Leaving old listings up can create annoying comparisons with your newer builds, and people will keep messaging you about a PC that doesn’t exist anymore. Next, I reinvest. If you want to grow, don’t instantly take profits—roll that cash into the next build. My “manageable” side hustle size is about five PCs at a time (assuming around a $1,000 sale price each). I also explain the follow-up mistake I stopped doing: don’t text right away asking if they’re happy, because you’ll turn your sale into a support ticket most of the time. Instead, I do long-term follow-ups around the 6–12 month mark (often right after warranty), which is where upgrades, trade-ins, referrals, and maintenance packages actually make sense. Finally, I treat it like a business: track your real sold prices (not your asking prices), adjust the rest of your listings if the market shifts, and use reviews strategically—positive reviews only, and I don’t chase them immediately after the sale.
