This build is one of the most unique PCs I’ve put together in a while, thanks to the 1stPlayer hardware: case, PSU, cooler all have some genuinely unusual design choices that I hadn’t seen before :) This is still a very serious gaming and productivity machine: Core Ultra 7 265KF https://amzn.to/3PNdaTz RX 9070 XT https://amzn.to/47XKb5H B860 ASRock https://amzn.to/4bQ0nY4 32GBPatriot Viper Elite 5 Ultra DDR5 https://amzn.to/3Nvw54J 1stPlayer IF8 case https://amzn.to/4bJ0JAZ 1stPlayer X-Starship 360 AIO https://amzn.to/4dG8sRu 1stPlayer NGDP 1000W Gold PSU https://amzn.to/3NGGgDA The surprise here is that this isn’t just “different”: it’s really good. 0:00 Why this build is so unusual 0:47 Core Ultra 7 + RX 9070 XT combo 2:05 RAM, board, and performance logic 3:15 1stPlayer X-Starship 360 + IF8 case 5:20 1stPlayer NGDP 1000W PSU 6:30 Benchmarks, temps, and final verdict 📷 Follow me: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imwateringpsus Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/imwateringpsus ⚙️ Gear & Recommendations: Thermal Paste I use: https://amzn.to/4l646mG Electric screwdriver for PC building: https://amzn.to/3IRfndi Mini Air Duster for PC cleaning: https://amzn.to/4l12fzx Deskmat: https://deskmat.io/imwateringpsus DISCLOSURE: Some links are affiliate links, I may earn a small commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. #PCBuild #GamingPC #CoreUltra7

About This Video

If you want to build a unique gaming PC, this is literally the right video, because I used hardware I honestly haven’t seen anywhere else. I put together a mid-to-high range 1440p high refresh rate machine that’s also a productivity beast for editing, streaming, and basically whatever you throw at it—without going full “overkill high-end.” The twist is the platform and the brand choice: Intel Core Ultra 7 paired with an AMD RX 9070 XT, plus a full set of 1stPlayer parts (case, AIO, and PSU) that ended up being way better than I expected. I go through why I picked a B860 ASRock board instead of overspending, and why RAM matters a ton on LGA 1851—these CPUs got dragged at launch because BIOS/microcode and settings weren’t where they should’ve been, and people also tested with the wrong RAM. I used a 32GB Patriot Viper Elite 5 Ultra RGB kit at 6000 CL30, and yes, you can tune it further if you want. Then we get to the fun part: the 1stPlayer X-Starship 360 AIO and IF8 case. The cooler is premium and stupid easy to install, and it kept my CPU insanely cold (60°C max with stock fan curve). The IF8 has that infinity mirror glass look I used to mod into my own builds back in the day, and the NGDP 1000W Gold PSU is fully modular, Cybenetics-certified, and just feels way more “serious” than the price suggests.
