About This Video

In this first episode of my 2026 PC flipping series, I’m breaking down what “getting started” actually looks like if you want to turn PC building into a side hustle (or a real job). I explain the difference between being a PC builder and being a PC flipper, and I’m upfront about something important: PC flipping can be very profitable, but a lot of people push it into unethical territory (scalping, GPU/RAM arbitrage). That’s not what I’m about. The honest way is building a good PC for a good price and selling it for a better price. I go over what you truly need to begin, and it’s way less than most people think. If you’re not repairing broken parts, you can start with basically a Phillips screwdriver, thermal paste, and wipes—plus some kind of HDMI display, mouse, and keyboard. I also lay out my rules for testing (don’t risk your personal daily system), and why you should pick one consistent photo spot and start building a portfolio from day one. Then I walk you through finding your first deal the right way: don’t rush, watch the market first, and be flexible on budget. For your first flip, spend extra time making it clean, tested, and good-looking—then price it fairly and focus on selling it fast, even if profit is small. The goal is momentum and experience, and we’ll fine-tune everything in the next episodes.
