In this Caturday livestream, I’m doing the very glamorous job of putting my “Forbidden Paints” back into pans—aka the paints that somehow escaped their homes and have been living their best chaotic life in jars, blobs, and half-dried mystery puddles. I talk through my process as I re-pan them, how I decide what goes where, and the little things that make rehydrating and settling watercolor into pans way less annoying (and way more satisfying). It’s a chill, chatty stream—cats, paints, and the occasional moment of “why did I do this to myself?” I also remind everyone of our stream safe word, “lumpy elephant,” because sometimes conversations drift into heavier territory and I want this space to stay cozy and safe. If anything gets too sensitive, we pivot right back to cats and paint nerd stuff—no questions asked.
