This was my last live of the year, and I wanted it to feel like a cozy, low-pressure hangout: opening boxes, chatting, and nerding out over some seriously awesome vintage palettes. I love these kinds of streams because it’s not just “look what I got”—it’s me talking through what makes a palette interesting, what I look for when something is older or secondhand, and how I’d actually use it at my desk with my watercolors (and, obviously, with cats supervising). I also reminded everyone about my little “lumpy elephant” safe word.
