Hi everybody—so I redid my room again, and this time I really wanted that Pinterest/TikTok vibe but with my own twist: a little ✨retro✨ because I’m obsessed with 60s/70s music. I show a full before-and-after, plus the real-life messy middle (because I was literally cleaning while filming). Also, I share my room with my grandma, which is why there were three beds in one room—my sister used to live with us too, and we finally removed her bed so we could actually rework the space. Most of this makeover was about making the room feel more functional without buying everything new. My dad and I built a “new” bed using materials from the old one, and I added storage with an IKEA KALLAX shelf + DRÖNA boxes. I also did a bunch of small upgrades that made a huge difference: extra LED strips behind my headboard and shelf, a Bluetooth LED bulb (not sponsored, I swear), and a vinyl wall using command hooks so I could hang records without damaging my walls. I pulled inspo from my Pinterest boards, used posters that came with my records, hung my guitar with wall mounts, and even set up a free Google Nest Mini (Canada Spotify promo) on my bedside table to finish the vibe.
