In this back-to-school try-on clothing haul, I’m showing you a bunch of pieces I’ve picked up for the 2018–2019 school year—except I’m going to be honest, I didn’t buy everything right at “back to school.” Some of it is from as far back as April, but we’re just going to pretend it was all for back-to-school time because it totally fits the vibe. My style is really basic and I like having essentials I can mix and match, so this haul is mostly staples I know I’ll actually wear. I go through my favorite affordable basics (yes, from Amazon—don’t judge) like Hanes and Gildan crewnecks/hoodies that are thick and cozy for Canada weather, plus a Levi’s Ex-Boyfriend Trucker denim jacket that I genuinely think is worth it because it’s such a solid layering piece.
