About This Video

This video is literally a chaotic (but very real) day in my junior year of high school—grade 11 because I’m Canadian. I accidentally fell asleep while doing homework, didn’t finish it, my phone didn’t charge, and I’m running late… so the vlog starts off with me doing last-minute homework and throwing on the only makeup I actually bother with for school: mascara (plus a clear eyebrow gel). It’s also freezing (like -2°C), so you get a super quick OOTD while I’m sprinting out the door: my Aritzia TNA hoodie, a basic Gildan hoodie, Garage jeans I’ve been wearing nonstop, and my Nike Air Force 1s because they’re basically my only shoes. Once I’m at school, it’s the usual: struggling through math (welcome to another episode), carrying an actually ridiculous amount of textbooks, and just trying to survive the day. After school, I hang out, grab coffee and fries to share, and we talk about random important topics like the “urban garlic” being deceptive and which t-shirt color I should wear (as if it matters). It’s not a perfectly productive day—it’s more like a realistic one, and that’s kind of the point.
