In this video I’m sharing my basic streetwear clothing essentials for high school—aka the pieces I actually wear all the time because they’re easy to mix and match. Most of my wardrobe is basics, and I’m really into men’s sizing because I like that boxier, more comfortable fit compared to tight women’s tees. I go through my go-to plain tops (black, beige, and a basic white polo), plus the sweatshirts I basically live in during winter in Canada—crewnecks and hoodies in simple colors so I can throw them over anything and be good to go. I also talk about the bottoms that make outfits effortless: high-waisted black leggings (I recommend Old Navy if you’re broke like me), and a few pairs of jeans I rotate—black ripped, basic black high-waisted jeggings, and blue mom jeans. For shoes, I swear by white sneakers because they go with everything (I wear mine pretty much every day). And since the weather is not always it, I cover jackets I rely on (a lightweight warm black jacket, a black windbreaker, and a classic denim jacket), plus a flannel, a graphic tee to switch it up, and a tank top for summer.
