About This Video

In this video I finally sit down and do the long-awaited “full face of MaoGePing” try-on and review (and yes, this is the final result on my face). MaoGePing is a luxury Chinese makeup brand created by a professional makeup artist, and you can really feel that “makeup-artist” mentality in the way the products are meant to be used—thin layers, lots of subtle dimension, and a big focus on skin looking healthy rather than heavy. I walk you through my skin prep freebie serum, the Luminous Moisture Liquid Foundation (heads up: it oxidizes), the salmon + yellow corrector concealer duo, the sculpting/highlight duo, the pressed setting powder, the nose contour duo, and that viral ombré blush shade 804. My biggest takeaways: the pressed powder is genuinely the standout—instant matte, airbrushed, and it makes touch-ups look fresh even when I’m being lazy. The foundation is also a favourite because it evens everything out without emphasizing pores or fine lines, and it wears really well (I even tested this full face on a 3K run and it held up way better than it had any right to). The blush is adorable and super beginner-friendly because it’s not overly pigmented—great if you like building and you’re prone to blush blindness like me. I also share what I think is “fun but not necessary,” and where I’d save your money.
