About This Video

We’re back for the final part of my yearly declutter, and today I’m tackling the chaos: nail polish and eyeshadow palettes. Yes, it starts off looking really messy (and RIP my washi tape… it basically all fell off), but the goal was to clean everything up and go into the new year feeling lighter and way more organized. I go through my polishes one by one, keep the gel shades I know I’ll actually use, and get a lot more ruthless with the “air-dry” colors that just don’t fit my current vibe—especially because I’m in the office a lot and I tend to reach for nudes and more wearable tones now. I also share the little staples that genuinely make a difference in my routine—like nail polish thinner (a lifesaver when glitter gets chunky), base coats I rely on, and the top coats I keep reaching for. Then we get into eyeshadow palettes, and let me just say: no one needs this many. I declutter iconic palettes I don’t use (even if they’re objectively gorgeous), keep the ones that are truly special to me (hello Pat McGrath and my forever NARS fave), and let go of anything redundant in my collection. By the end, my collection is still not “small,” but it’s so much more concise—and I’m honestly proud of myself.
